Reparations are the dumbest fucking thing on Earth. Every country in the world was taken away by the people who inhabit it from the people who used to inhabit it. Every country in the world used slavery for thousands of years. England and the United States were two of only a few white Christian nations that banned slavery. African countries didn't ban it at that time. Asian countries didn't ban it at that tiime. Only white Christian countries. If there were any justice at all, non-white countries would be paying white countries reparations for allowing them to partake in Western civilization.

At this point I'm convinced that all these wealth transfer schemes are a way to create a stream of revenue from which politicians may skim off the top whenever it suits them. Reparations and global warming are attempting to emulate the success of the Ukraine war and the Iraq war, both of which involved huge transfers of wealth and mediators that get to keep a cut.
