Yeah, They considered it a courtesy. "Hey, i'm kinda sick so maybe don't get so close". ALMOST makes sense... But still pretty dumb.

Ah yea, not really disagreeing - now i'm reminded of that skit where they're all repeatedly knocking their heads together being so polite and continuing to apologize to each other ....
