never have... I have always thought 'church' and the overarching idea of 'organized religion' to be a fucking scam to keep the sheep in-line; moreover, poor and scared. I mean, keeping the sheep in the pen and afraid to 'stray' is pretty much in the job description in this line of work.
For those that are truly God-fearing, they needn't a house to pray in nor a congregation to peer.

Starving congregation keeps their pope fat and fed... There's a strange mentality in Russia where it's okay to give all your worldly possessions to people in authority, because the gold they wear and the fat bellies they carry represent the wealth and prosperity of their people. Hence, we have always had boyars and popes with huge beer bellies.
