Works alone won't get you into the Kingdom, but faith and a belief that works are required wont keep you out.

No, when you trust in your own works to make yourself righteous before God, then you are not trusting 100% in Jesus. People who believe in work-based salvation believe they can lose their salvation.

Jesus died for all of my sins, in the past, present and future. Not some, not most, all of them. So my salvation is guaranteed based on faith alone. Eternal life is eternal life.

Christians who become wicked and sinful will be severely punished for their sins in this life, and may also lose their rewards in Heaven. However once someone accepts Jesus as their saviour, they are saved forever.

Salvation is only by faith i.e. BELIEVING, and once saved, always saved.

John 10:28

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

Acts 16:30-31

30And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Salvation is a free gift that can never be taken away.
