People scrutinized his book and found fantasy and fabrications.
Among them is the claim that Japan loved black slavery when the west started to abolish it.
But it's worse than that. He edited wikipedia to say that Yasuke was a black samurai, then he wrote his book using wikipedia as a source, and then he edited wikipedia to use his book as a source.
