If it's making a comeback at all it's because of the dirty illegals that brought it in.
The person that had it who spread it all over central Texas was vaccinated for measles.
I think the current manufactured panic is over maybe 7 or 8 deaths nationwide. It could be less.
Less deaths than caused by autos and that was already an insignificant percent of the population being somewhere in the 30,000s annually. It sucks for the families that they lost the genetic lottery, but 8 deaths in a country as large as the USA isn't enough to fear monger.
...isn't enough to fear monger.
Unless the goal is widespread panic that allows another Covid style lock-down.
Measles is completely survivable if you have decent nutrition and are even vaguely healthy.
I had it (vaccine induced) as a teen and the doc still sent me to school even with a fever. My mom kept me home with a fake doc note at least until the fever was gone because she didn't want me exposed to other crap while I was already sick.
Most measles cases are either vaccine induced or from malnourished illegals.
