Measles is completely survivable if you have decent nutrition and are even vaguely healthy. I had it (vaccine induced) as a teen and the doc still sent me to school even with a fever. My mom kept me home with a fake doc note at least until the fever was gone because she didn't want me exposed to other crap while I was already sick. Most measles cases are either vaccine induced or from malnourished illegals.
