"All acts, laws, orders, rules, and regulations of the United States Government, whether past, present, or future, that infringe on the people’s right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution and Arkansas Constitution, Article 2, § 5, are invalid in this state, shall not be recognized by this state, are specifically rejected by this state, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this state."

Still needs to get through the house and the idiot governor but there is a good chance.

Machine guns when?

And silencers no longer require $200+ tax stamps and a massive waiting period?

Looks like I'm moving to Arkansas.

This was my first thought but, more so the other items on the "restricted weapons" list.

Sadly it won't happen. This is a carrot.

Bravo!! Isn't it sad that the states have to TELL the Fed. that there is a Constitution that they must follow?

Sad but inevitable. Centralized power is always abused. Always. AR is doing the right thing.

to think, this is the state that infected us with the clintons

If you think that is the only STD we got for ya, then you are sadly mistaken.

The constitution is the law of the land.

Select-fire machine guns! WOOOOOO!!

It's a weak bill, it doesn't invalidate all federal gun laws, just those which "violate the 2nd amendment," which is redundant. if they're going to follow it up by actually ordering the police to stop enforcing specific laws then that might mean something.

A stronger move would be to pass a competing supremacy clause in their constitution.

Great, were now making laws to make sure the existing laws are being followed ...

Meta all of the laws untill we end up with "I am the law!"

Fully Auto when?

Missile Launchers when?

Felons when? (hurrrrr bouncing a check twice means you can't own a gun goy!!!)

The gun-loving contingent . passing a doozy of a bill .

Yeah, no bias here. Also, I wanted to post some more quotes, but I have to subscribe to continue reading. They can go fuck themselves with that.

My apologies, I didn't get that popup. If I'd seen that I would have posted a different article.
