They'll be selling them in stores for 10× that cost if they start pushing them on msm. They'll claim shortages and inflate.

The home improvement stores aren’t any better, if you need them for work you’ve been paying outrageous prices since the start of covid and that’s if they were even in stock.
I always say it has to get really bad on a personal level before people wake up, I'm not sure of that now. Maybe investing in gas mask companies is a good idea?
