KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Kyle Rittenhouse has been acquitted of all charges after pleading self-defense in the deadly Kenosha, Wisconsin, shootings that became a flashpoint in the nation’s debate over guns, vigilantism and racial injustice.

The jury came back with its verdict after close to 3 1/2 days of deliberation.

I'm glad it wasn't a mistrial and was an acquittal. This sets a good precedent and is a rare bit of decent news.

Agreed. I fully expected a mistrial after all of the prosecution's shenanigans, but that would have just delayed the rioting.

The judge actually dismissed all charges after the verdict. On paper the decision is that the charges never should have been filed and not only was there never enough evidence to bring charges but also that their was evidence completely exonerating him.
