Kelly's mistake was using his work email to send the donation. When you work for any government in any position, you're really not supposed to use your work resources for personal reasons. Especially using an official communications channel for politicking. I don't like it when the Left does it so I'd be an hypocrite if I didn't oppose it when a conservative does it.

Using his work email isn't really a huge waste of resources, in reality. But he's a dumbass for doing it
