TReminds me of scene in Brave New World when Huxley describes a main character (an alpha+ male) taking an elevator which is manned by a "hideous black semi-moron" bred for only the most menial of jobs. When the elevator stops at the roof and the doors open to sunshine the elevator operator's eyes are dazzled and he says "oh! Roof!" .
