After 17 years of inactivity, and just a couple weeks before the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, the CDC decides to update its toxicological profile on Vinyl Chloride. The update changes the lethal exposure from 100PPM to 100,000PPM. What are the odds?

Also, Netflix released ‘white noise’ in Aug of ‘22. It’s about a train derailment that causes an airborne toxic event. The entire movie was filmed in Ohio, and the train derailment scene was filmed in East Palestine, Ohio. Haven't watched the movie but the synopsis on imdb says this about the protagonist in the first sentence.:
