Interesting. I know nothing about this story, but I do wonder if the charges were trumped up and he was murdered to cover something up.
His ex-boss, Larry Hogan was a centrist R. McGrath took off and evaded police for 3 weeks over a mere +/-$200K theft. That seemed strange to me, to risk ones life over $200K vs being arrested and fighting it in the courts (if he was innocent) or taking his punishment if he was guilty.
