To change the Constitution, we have to have an Article V Convention, which would mean our gov has to work together. No other country in the world has 'right to bear arms' as a defined and enshrined human right.
Try as they might, they cannot change the Bill of Rights without making them all arbitrary - so we still have that semblance of protection, for now.
