I had to look because my first thought was why would you need the company to still be in business for your solar panels to work. But incomplete installations makes sense. I wonder if you could install the system yourself if they already put the panels on your roof before going under?

Someone with a 2 year electronics or EE experience could figure it out, buy the components and finish the install with a little research. It sounded like a lot of these people already paid (signed the loan or made the big downpayment) for the parts and full install, but it was never completed. Some have systems that no longer work. The program falls short, as usual with the government driven green initiatives.

Yeah, paying the deposit and loan for nothing would be absolutely infuriating.
