No Country could be called a modern western I suppose. When I think of a western I think of a period set after the Civil War.
The characters in Deadwood are so well played and unlike any you’ve seen on any screen. The dialogue is amazing. The script was written each morning before shooting. Unforgettable lines. Unforgettable characters. Lol, buy the set because you’ll most likely watch it once a year, it’s that good. The only film I’d say that about.
