Reading comments, most of you fuckers seem to not be bothered by this. My experience with LEDs are not the same in regard to the smaller candelabra bulbs which are commonly used for hanging light fixtures. Those bulbs don't last any longer and they are ten times the price.
I have had mostly positive experiences with the standard size/type LED bulbs, but I'm still not in favor of banning incandescents.
