No sympathy. They voted for this

No sympathy. They voted for this

I don't think as many people voted for this as we think. I'd be willing to bet that the elections in California have been stolen for a long time now. Last 6 or so elections, one side was winning when you went to bed, just to be losing/lost in the morning.

San Mateo County, in which this city resides, voted for Gavin Newsom 75/25, same with Padilla for congress, and similar ratios for their state representatives. Theirs likely some fraud, but there doesn't need to be much because they know they'll win these anyway.

Even funnier, they voted almost 80/20 to raise the hotel tax from 12 to 14% in the last election. Maybe the hotel wouldn't need to house the addicts if it had more travelers staying there.

That's the crazy thing: they cheat in areas they don't need it. It's like they need to get a certain margin of victory, or it doesn't count. How many people vote but don't vote for everything on the ballot?

It'd be great if the MSM would talk about actual numbers instead of hiding behind percentages. And for districts, showing the total number of eligible people that could vote.

I'm general, I agree with you but in this instance I can say with a high degree of confidence that these San Francisco residents vote overwhelmingly left.

The county government website gives numbers of votes but I didn't check it against the rolls. It's unlikely they'd have to stuff many ballots to get to the 78 and change percentage passage of the tax bill.

Repercussions are a bitch.
