Mayor Scott plans to offer residents more than 200 city-owned vacant properties for $1 each. However, those residents must rehab the homes and live in them.

As for Gen-Zers and millennials who have been priced out of homes - well now is your chance to buy at the rock bottom.

The price is way too high. You can't just look at the sale price: you need to consider how much money and effort you need to put into it. It's not worth it.

Now, if the mayor offered a zero interest loan and no property taxes for 10 years, it might actually be be doable. You'd also be taking a huge risk in terms of crime, squatting, shooting, theft and so on. The mayor hasn't the fucking balls to actually lower crime rates, drug dealing, prostitution and the homeless problem. Like all communist plans, this will never work because it won't actually solve the root problem Baltimore has: niggers.

Not to mention this plan is really meant to find suckers who don't consider the ramifications of getting a "free" home. All the mayor wants is tax revenue. When property is empty, it's lost opportunity. He certainly isn't planning to lower or subsidize taxes.

It just occurred to me a funny trick would be to take the mayor up on his offer, then encourage squatters to move in without doing any rehab to the building. LOL.

spot on. but not to mention the coming rise of this squatter bs. wouldn't be surprised to watch newly renovated homes become a squatters target. wait until they're 90-95% finished and just move on in.
