I've been thinking all day there was some funny business with this. 911 Lite?

It is always possible its an "accident". Especially with all of our infrastructure already falling apart and the competency crisis in the US.

However... It just feels wrong. Some thoughts.

I don't know if its SOP to move these ships at night/early morning but... It was not done during rush hour to minimize death which would have required a massive response and huge investigations (bigger than they will be now).

It closes the port until the bridge parts can be removed.. It is one of the largest shipping ports in the world. This will probably cause some companies to go out of business just because they cant operate.

It re-routes traffic around Baltimore in ways that will add a MASSIVE amount of time to traffic delays for commuting, shipping, etc.

The bridge itself has to be rebuilt... Which the original one took 5+ years to build. It will be demanded that the new bridge be built in a way to try to keep this from happening again.. Which will probably mean it taking 10+ years and 200x more money to build.

If you wanted to economically attack a country with minimal loss of life, a huge overall impact to not just local area residents but to all shipping and traffic in the region while making it look like a mistake/accident this seems like a pretty damn good choice.

Did you see the sped-up footage of the boat intentionally turning towards the pillar? If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck...

Do you have any evidence that supports your claim that the rudder was turned in such a manner to cause the turn? Is it possible that the sudden turn you see is when the anchor and chain hits the bottom and starts dragging, effectively creating a pivot point as the momentum and current try to keep the ship going into the Chesapeake Bay? Only one anchor was dropped, which is suspicious. Both should have been dropped.

It doesn't really matter they will likely blame "Russia" and "cyber attacks because it's a good opportunity to help start WWIII.

That fact wasn't lost on me either. I figured it might take a week or two but those two "power outages" we saw before the boat the bridge will probably be traced back to "Russian Hackers". They might even pull a "the boat was under control by the Kremlin".
