Basically yes. Southern roots in the mid west after my family left Norway when I was a little kid. My father was an American military man.
I'm a northerner (Maine) that had family on both mom's and Dad's side of the family in the Civil War. I still have a Medical Officer's sword, sheath, ammo pouch and brass belt buckle from my G-G-G-Grandfather on dad's side.
Ah ok. I just wish there hadn't been a Civil War. It was so unnecessary. I believe in White Brothers and Sisters never to fight and kill each under any circumstances. What was it for? 150 years later the entitled blacks still want free money. Now burn loot murder aka blm is ruling the sanctuary city states.
I hate we killed each other for no reason except a jewish plot.
I wish the war hadn't been necessary. It tore families apart, destroyed so many lives and livlihoods. However, I feel slavery is wrong; unGodly and uncivilized, against our Constitution and Bill of Rights. The South did not want to free their slaves ... and the rest is history.
