The weatherman is always wrong. As for NOAA, sure they do some important work, but they're just as guilty as any government agency when it comes to waiting money. Per the article: the head of NOAA declined to comment on firings. The article did not say what the guy they talked to actually did there, just that he had been there for some time and was an expert in his field.

I hate to see sciences cut, but you're absolutely right - they want money and they're willing to go along with the climate change BS.

The government has just become so freakishly large that something had to give. Good people are going to be caught in that give.

Indeed. While the benthic bioturbidation rate of a feeding walrus is impressive, it seems less practical knowledge than understanding the the biogeochemical factors that lock the bulk of oceanic silica in a ring around Antarctica.

Dude it's way too early in the morning for words with more than three syllables.

The walrus makes a mess when he's digging for clams vs diatoms and shit.

Fear mongering from the left. OMG! We'll never know when the next hurricane is coming!

The people they cut are bureaucrats who contribute nothing to the cause of predicting weather. Every time I see one of the articles I thing of Peter Gibbons from the movie Office Space. "Here's something else, Bob. I have eight different bosses right now."

What am I going to do with 40 subscriptions to Vibe magazine?

So, are they cutting chem trails?

Hopefully weather modification is included in the cuts...

Did they fire the people who so that we don’t see the actual numbers?
