After seeing , I wonder how much blame is on the tug boat. It looks like the tug is controlling the movement by pushing the ship and then for whatever reason breaks away. Moments later the sail boat is hitting the bridge. I also question why the sail boat captain didn't drop its anchors. On modern ships this can be done with a flip of a switch. I don't know how period accurate the ship is so maybe this wasn't possible.

What I came to comment, I barely saw the low tug on the right and the Mexican Captains is all "I hope they have insurance since they just likely caused a 100k+ in damage"
How the fuck does a tugboat not ask the ships height and know the bridge clearance since they do this daily likely with other ships?
It hasn't been confirmed that the ship intended to go under the bridge. I think they were pulling out from the dock and then when it came time to move forward they fucked it up.
