It has not played out, it has gone from the civilian information/awareness phase to operational boots on the ground phase. All of this was so that US patriots and the informed, world-wide, would cheer when this goes down as opposed to freaking out that the US Military was enacting a coupe. The optics now show the US Military is preventing a communist coupe from enemies both foreign and domestic.
