No, this is to avoid that. Starting a new third party is what was supposed to have done that; de-RINO-izing the GOP is hypothetically supposed to be better.
I honestly have not seen a better option yet, but I don't donate the the GOP anymore anyway, so it makes little difference at this point. Well, as far as my admittedly miniscule [no more than four figure] donations.
