America convinced its children that they needed a college degree to make it. Formal education took all the White kids off job sites and out of fast food jobs. Many brown people were needed to fill those rolls.

If the labor wasn't imported the problem would have worked itself out. Plenty of college whites working fast food now, sadly.

I recommended the trades to my oldest son. It's like people were embarrassed to say their child is a plumber or electrician. Heck with that. Those are good jobs.

I never finished high school and went into the trades. Not every year, but overall, I’ve made more money and own more shit than any of my educated fambly members.

I believe it. I wish I would have taken the trades classes offered at my high school. They would have been much more useful to me than the stupid college prep crap. Any home owner should understand basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Luckily now a days you can learn a lot from YouTube.

When I went to school, you were looked at like a loser if you took those classes. They were for kids not smart enough to do the maths and sciences. Total bullshit to frame it that way.

I recently had a fellow, doctoral co-worker poke fun at me for planning to leave the sciences. I told her if I had been truly smart and become a plumber or an electrician, I'd be on track to retire comfortably in 10 years; not have zero chance of retirement. I recommend the trades to anyone anymore. Engineering or comp sci are also pretty solid. There's no reason to idly support the Marxist indoctrination camps.
