I thought it's more like a semi-autistic thing. Like this guy sees people smile, doesn't understand why, but the few mirror neurons he has tell him to try to mimic the smiles of other people. This is the result of failed mimicry. **Look at his eyes.** He is not smiling. He is contorting the lower half of his face muscles to simulate a smile. As long as you're not retarded, a person should be able to spot a fake smile- and it leaves you feeling unnerved, because "Why is this guy putting on that mask?" Puts you on edge. This is a survival instinct developed over our history as a species. If someone is smiling at you like this, *they are hiding something.* It could be harmless. Or it could be a desire to strangle you from behind the moment you turn your back. I'm so tired.
