Let's be honest, Texas will never give up the fees it gets in from giving back people's rights. I know of many states which are much more die hard red than Texas as well. This is just a new law that will codify state laws can nullify federal law, except in the case of Texas, the laws they will introduce, thanks to the idiot liberals will be worst than the federal ones

My opinion is that the one time $40 fee is pretty minimal and I'm ok with them trying to make you at least show you can hit the broad side of a barn before they let you carry in the grocery store. Too many fucking morons. I'm sure the $1.2 billion that could be generated from the entire Texas population a single time is not a huge motivator in the equation.
