Yup. The rason that I like Trump is that he is so dumb he is easy to read. He is a great great salesman, but he has zero leadership skills and some huge personality issues such as narcissim. He has zero depth and zero knowledge of the greater philosophical, historical and related issues. He isn't capable of articulating a vision, a goal and a way to get there. All that this guy can do is persuasion and boy oh boy are we seeing the limitsof his skillset on display here. He is really making a huge strategic mistake here as you said, I agree.
