Won't work. (((executive privilege))) protects him.

The county sheriff has higher authority over law enforcement in the county than even SCOTUS does. Start there. Not with this virtue-signaling cuckoldry that sheriffs often post and act with.

The real question is why are local and state law enforcement apparently unable to do anything about the flooding illegals?

Why, as the enforcers of laws for their community, unable to enforce the law of illegal trespassers?

From what I've seen they are overwhelmed and ill-equipped to process so many illegals through the system.

Process? Why not use brute force and physical restrict illegals in known, high traffic entry points (for example at that Rio overpass area)?

Because that would make sense, and likely work very well. For doing so, local law enforcement would be pilloried in the media and I'm sure it's not worth it to most of them.
