Semi-serious question here, maybe some of you Jew shekel-grabblers can explain to me why this idea won’t work;

So I briefly skimmed through an article about how the treasury could mint a $1 trillion dollar platinum coin and deposit it with the fed. I don’t understand how or why that would work, but whatever…So if they can do it with one coin, why can’t the treasury mint 29 or 30 of them - enough to pay off the national debt - and then cut ties with the fed and start issuing a real silver-or-gold backed currency? I mean we are fucked either way, but better now than later…

The Federal Reserve can print fiat currency but would certainly not accept it. Apparently Kennedy signed an EO that would allow the US Treasury to mint coins backed by silver. According to the article below, the EO is still on the books but for some reason hasn't been used since Kennedy's untimely death.
