Virginia Governor-elect, Glenn Youngkin, has a plan to elevate jews and the nation of Israel to a privileged class in Virginia. Youngkin's "[Plan to Combat Anti-Semitism in Virginia](https://archive.md/HAYL5)" says he will form a Virginia Holocaust, Genocide and Anti-Semitism Advisory Commission and push the Virginia General Assembly to pass a state law adopting the [International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s working definition of anti-Semitism](https://archive.md/dD2zu). If Youngkin's plan is successful, jews will become the only class of people in Virginia who cannot be referenced as a whole without risking fines or imprisonment. Anyone in Virginia will be able to say, "white people are x," or "black people are x," and suffer no legal consequences. However, if the same person were to say, "Jewish people are x" they would be guilty of anti-Semitism according to the proposed definition, and thus subject to fine or imprisonment. Further, the proposed law would elevate Israel above all other nations of the world, including the United States, in the eyes of Virginia law. When AOC and other liberals were criticizing Donald Trump's immigration policies by comparing detention centers with Nazi concentration camps, they were well within their First Amendment rights to do so. Youngkin's proposed law would make the same criticism of Israel a crime in the State of Virginia.
