Ignoring optics completely is just as bad as cucking for optics out of cowardice. The win is what matters, and the ability to think things through.
Cucking for optics from niggers also lost him 5% of the White vote while gaining him a mere 1% of the nigger vote. If he'd actually done something for Whites for a change instead of just simping for niggers and kikes he might have beat the election fraud.

That said I agree with what you're saying overall, but what you're describing also isn't the same as cucking for optics. For instance, Zognald Trumpstein should have nominated a hardliner male SCOTUS justice, instead of cucking for optics from the shitlibs and nominating a woman. Same with the "Platinum Plan", praising George Floyd during nigger riots, and the "First Step Act". All of those things were Zognald cucking for optics, betraying his supporters and voters in order to get brownie points from the left and the MSM, and it didn't work at all and in fact backfired and made a significant portion of his supporters and voters stay home.
I don't disagree with any of that.
