Which is complete horseshit, because again Faithless electors are a thing and have happened in the past. The only thing it would have done is make it impossible for the media to say "Most voted for president in history, folks!" over and over again. It might have given precedent to people saying "No one wanted him" maybe, but that wouldn't matter. Because in that timeline, they'd be going "You wanted the electoral college, bigots, not our fault it didn't go in your favor" like the faggots the left are.
I thought about this months ago, but I never see it brought up in any case. Why would having the votes properly counted for anything beyond state/local level make a difference when it's not actually decided by the (retarded) masses? People seem to have forgot that the popular vote is literally a non-deciding popularity contest, and that supposedly Hillary won it in '16 but Trump still won the electoral vote?
