Are you saying there is a simpler alternative? Please explain how.

I don't know if it's necessarily easier, but I find I am hesitant to open PDFs. Quite a few others are, as well. If a linked article goes to a paywalled link I just right click on it, copy it, and archive it. That usually removes the paywall aspect.

Thanks. I'll try that next time. There is a lot of vaguery in "archive it." Details would be appreciated.
