I think the worst part of being in the room when all of the self-proclaimed "Wizards of Smart" start making proclamations and sharing their deep and wise "insights" was discovering to my growing horror/disappointment was just exactly what level of competence our service academies have been producing for the last several decades. If not forced at the point of a gun, the only way I would follow any of these idiots anywhere is out of sheer morbid curiosity, to see what they were going to fuck up next. And then only at a great distance. With scant interest and no small amount of amusement.
