Wow, why isn't this being reported? Every fucking news outlet reported on the Russians bombing that maternity hospital (of course, neglecting to mention that it was ABANDONED a long time ago), but they aren't covering what would be classified as "war crimes" being committed en masse and *under orders* by Ukrainians? How many torture videos have we seen the from the Ukrainians? A dozen or more? These poor Russian conscripts, surrendered, only to have their legs shot before they're interrogated and left to bleed to death. Slitting throats of living, uninjured prisoners. Executing prisoners in general- all of this shit is meant to be "illegal" under the Geneva Convention. I haven't seen *one* instance of Russians torturing Ukrainian soldiers or civilians. Can anyone provide an example? I'm looking at this objectively, I have no dog in this fight, but to me it's clear that the Ukrainians are fucking *evil* and the Russians are the "better" of the two. Not that Russia is some wonderful country that I want to live in, not that they don't have their problems.... but the way they've conducted this war so far has been uncharacteristically patient and merciful. They've been very careful to maintain a clean image, I think- they probably threatened their soldiers with horrific punishments if they're caught raping/looting or committing anything that would fall under "war crimes". If the Russian ground forces can behave themselves, after they finish off the last few elements of organized Ukrainian military, they'll come out of this smelling like roses compared to the Ukrainians. I expect the Ukrainians' terror tactics to escalate as the war turns into a hellish guerilla struggle. I expect a lot more torture/execution videos from the Ukrainians, as it is clear they cannot win a conventional war (even with all of our gear....), so they will turn to guerilla fighting.
