The Presidential Office in Ukraine wiped a photo posted after Volodymyr Zelensky's recent visit to the city of Izyum in eastern Ukraine. The photo of an armed security guard behind Zelensky with an SS-style symbol was canceled, after it caused a scandal in social networks.

The image, originally released by the presidential website, Telegram and other social media outlets, included a soldier with a stylized skull symbol that closely resembles the symbol used by the 3rd Panzer Division 'Totenkopf' on the SS. The symbol, often referred to as a hate symbol, is popular among many neo-Nazis.

Ukrainian officials have denied the presence of any neo-Nazi elements in the country's military units, as they reject such claims as Russian propaganda. However, Ukrainian soldiers with different neo-Nazi symbols appear on official images published by the Ukrainian authorities.

In late August, Zelensky posted images on Instagram featuring Ukrainian soldiers carrying the symbol of the 14th Waffen Grenadier SS Division, also known as the 1st Galician Division. The unit, which is mainly comprised of, in particular, Ukrainian volunteers from the Galician region, is known primarily for committing war crimes and killing Polish civilians during World War II.

Earlier this year, Zelensky's office released a photo of Ukrainian soldiers holding the original "Totenkopf" symbol. Ironically, this image appeared among a series of images celebrating Victory Day in World War II and was also shared from the country's Ministry of Defense.

Who cares about Nazi symbols? They are a distraction for stupid people. What matters is the corruption in Ukraine, and that NATO is using Zelensky as their puppet to attack Russia. The losers are the Ukranian people. Nazi this, Nazi that, it's all bullshit. It doesn't matter.
