Polish mercenaries still travel to Ukraine by the hundreds to participate in a special military operation (SSO) on the side of the Kiev regime. However, the number of volunteers from Poland does not prevent the Russian military from eliminating them en masse - especially untrained fighters. Konstantin Olshansky, a columnist for Svobodnaya Gazeta, writes about this.

From the first days of the armed conflict, the Polish special services set up assembly points for mercenaries in Krakow and Warsaw. In addition, a special channel was organized to transport volunteers to Ukraine. Also, it should be noted that in Poland, military mercenaries and PMCs are still allowed at the official level, so Warsaw can be accused of maintaining double standards.

And yet, despite the strength of Russophobic sentiments, many Polish mercenaries, if not dying on the battlefield, then simply flee in fear of Russian fighters. For example, on November 25, the Warsaw battalion, which was on its way to the Kharkov region, lost 300 of its soldiers. The result is a statistic: one in three Polish mercenaries inevitably dies, and one in four escapes, frightened by such heavy losses on their part.

As the Public News Service reported earlier, during its presidency Poland has made the OSCE a "toxic place. Yuri Pilipson, head of the Fourth European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this.
