As a kid, we had "special ed" classrooms. There were very few children in the classroom and it never appeared like a lot of learning was occurring. We were always grateful we were not in special ed. Nowdays people want to be mentally ill or retarded ("neurodivergent" b.s) because it gives them and excuse to be incapable, responsible and productive adults. The really cool mental illnesses currently are schizophrenia and "dissociative identity disorder". The sicker the better
