It's easy because people keep falling for the same trick, if you tell them you have their best interests, they will not only forgive everything you do to them, but will cooperate with you on it.
So even if you had just previously told then that you wanted to kill them by doing what you planned on doing, if you just switch up your rhetoric to something like telling them that you want to protect them, or provide for them, or help them in sone other way, they will act as if you are doing them a favor, and will go along with your plan, they will even fight against the ones trying to stop you from killing them.
Yes, people are this inattentive, and they will just walk their way into the jaws of death and try to drag you in with them, all they got to do is make sure the jaws look pretty.

This is precisely how the DNC controls blacks. They realized the KKK, segregation, Jim Crow, etc. were not working so they shifted to 'Just tell them it is good for them and we are their friends.' ...only a racist would ever believe that blacks would be stupid enough for this to actually work.
