Well, Paganism is a broad spectrum and would include a variety of ideas from basic animism, to shamanism, and so on. I would prefer something that specifically addresses the esoteric paradigm that is found in Kabbalah and gnostic cults/ sects.

What would you say is the anti-thesis, which Christian sect or interpretation is the correct one, in your view?

Egyptian is a dead language. Id just go with mystery cult. They all came from one original.

Any insular or orthodox sect. Some hermit in a cave reading the texts is probably more on track than most of the sects these days. What do you think?

Well, I can't exactly come up with something, no point using a word that no one else is using, and it's such an obscure thing.

Why does the Bible say "Mystery of Babylon" rather than "Mystery of Egypt"? Wasn't Babel established with the Sumerians and what we usually refer to as "Babylon" is actually the Neo-Babylonian empire?

Thats a good point, the cults probabably go back to Uruk. Even usolated cultures like the olmecs seemed to come up with similar cults that survived into predeccessor civilizations

Wasnt all the revelation bible babylon talk about Nero and Rome? I could see the jews or evangelicals fucking the translation up and manipulating it.
