Nazi war criminals and people who supported and helped Hitler to carry out the holocaust and other war crimes, genocides and crimes against Humanity were almost never put on trial for their crimes against the Jews, the Poles, the Greeks, the Russians and the people of Europe, but instead were installed in top positions in NATO, in the western German government, army, industry and western German society at large.
This should make you realize that something is wrong with this statement.

As you can obviously tell by how they were treated after the war those things weren't true. That stuff was all made up long after the war.
The holocaust was made up after the 1970's tv movie that aired by that name. No old encyclopedias printed after the war up until about 1980 showed it and they would have been nearest to the events right?
Before then Nazis were funny bumbling idiots in major tv shows like Hogans Heros. Could such a show really have been made merely 15 years after the war by jewish holloywood if they had actually been such monsters? No.
They weren't. They were just on the losing side in a political and banking argument. Most Americans didn't want to fight with them. Roosevelt had promised he wouldn't go to war before his election (he lied) .
There was more concern about Japanese and what they had done. But the Germans were considered fine.
Werner Von Braun was great man and led us to the moon. The Germans were considered unfortunate opponents in a political war.
The real holocaust was the murder of all the Germans who lived east of the Oder river. The real death camps where the POW camps set up by France, the USA, and the UK.
