PRO TIP - DO NOT. Pay your bill immediately! Wait about 3 months for the adjustments to settle. Your bill will ALMOST ALWAYS go down about 60%. IE If you get a first bill for $3000, then a week later something gets added making it $3300. After about 2-3 months, it'll start getting updated to like $2200, then easily $1200. Why? Because they flagged you as a low income patient and then flagged you for their secret low price menu. Even if you refuse to do this BECAUSE YOU'RE A FUCKING COWARD. ATLEAST wait until your bill settles on a solid number. Hospitals get their numbers wrong. Don't be a dip shit and pay until the number has settled or you'll easily pay for mistakes in their billing. Btw, it takes at least a month of getting bill adjustments before it first settles on a number. So you might as well wait the extra month until they start taking big chunks off.
