Did they really?
ukraine was gonna join nato, that meant US having nukes there pointed at Russia. They already had their biolabs there.
Can't really blame the Ukraine gov't for strongly considering joining NATO; Russia had already invaded once and was still making noises about it. As for nukes pointed at Russia there, IDK. Has the US moved nukes into any of the new NATO countries that joined since the collapse of the USSR?
ukraine govt got couped in 2014 so i do blame them for wanting to join nato, they wouldn't want to organically
Yeah I feel this is accurate, though I feel the US biolabs should play a bigger part in this especially since we had a significant biolab incident recently. Do you remember that or is it already memory holed for you?
I don't recall anything any news about Russia protesting the presence of the biolabs before they started amassing troops. Was it unreported by the Western media? Got any references?
It's pretty obvious the main impetus behind this invasion is Russia wanting a warm-water port, and the rest is an excuse. Not that any of the other parties in this conflict have clean hands, though. It's a shit-show all around.
Western Media as a source? HA! as if.... I don't trust a word that kiked out group of globohomo loving assholes have to say.
Im thinking, reverse 'Cuban missile crisis'. Shitty neighbour with dodgy friends. Russia can't sit idly by and watch.
Were we right to reject cuba having first strike capabilities against us?
This is just the cuban missile crisis again but now it also represent a viable land path for invasion and a common language means subverted ukraine represents a cultural threat.
