This is why religion is so vital to a healthy society. It provides a foundational base of moral and ethical beliefs. It sets down what is right and what is wrong; what is good and what is evil; what is true and what is false. Western civilication largely threw away Christianity, and this opened the door for demonic forces to undermine our collective conception of reality. I honestly don't see things getting significantly better until we have a revival or rebirth of Christianity in the West. It's possible Islam will take Christianity's place, but Islam is an inferior religion, and its moral and ethical codes are not as healthy as those of Christianity. If it is Islam, we won't get a choice about whether we want to practice it -- it will be forced upon us at the point of a sword, or the muzzle of a gun, as it has been since the warlord Mohammed forced it upon the Middle East more than a thousand years ago.
