Today's ruling is exactly the rally cry the Dems desperately needed. The Dems got this news in time to weave it into every midterm speech, commercial, and flyer.

Dems are going to crush Republicans using this rally cry. If you've been looking forward to the republican wave, it's time to reset expectations.

Brilliant. Great point.

"Muh fem rights" is a powerful tool. Most males today are weak, very weak. For most its a result of the mass conditioning, both mentally and physiologically, to become limp-dicked dependent soyfags.

They've already primed women to "use sex as a weapon" to get what they want. They've simply reloaded the cannon, aimed, and fired again.

"Either you support <current-narrative> or you're a repressed mysogenist who wants to strip me of my rights!!!"

Black piller is black.

politics is theater, there are no "wins"

OP is presenting a possible motivation behind the recent ruling.

If the SCOTUS was as based as the president suggested today why wouldn't they have waited and released this after the mid-term republican wave that seemed almost certain? IMHO - This was released to maintain the gridlock, a deadman switch to ensure higher then normal dem turnout.

This will be what they point to as the reason for the dem wins so that they can crush those who find out about the cheating.

I am sure it will be the excuse regardless.

It really just guarantees the deadlock scenario we live in today with no ability to move our country forward.

Nah there will still be a red wave. It will just be smaller and this will be used to explain away the cheating

I don't agree. The Dems weren't apathetic for the next election, the conservative silent majority is.

Row-v-Wade is a keystone issue for Dems, and the additional twist of the knife from Thomas suggesting other key SCOTUS rulings could be at question are all squarely targeted on the Dems as well. This is akin to Republicans getting hit with negation of the 2A IMHO.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there was an emergency push to add 4 additional seats to the SCOTUS with the sitting president to select for immediate placement.

It is not implausible for them to push for more justices before the midterms. The Republicans seem to be running cover for the Dems as well.

LOL! You really think this will cost the GOP elections? You're clearly a city boy in a big city surrounded by the insane left. After what will be months of severe leftist domestic terrorism that destroy the most leftist parts of the nation why would this help them win elections?

I agree that a few nights/weeks of riots/vandalism could negate the momentum they picked up today. Without this I can't see a way a now re-motivated Democratic base couldn't impact the results.
