Frank Tufano has a lot of information on why pastured, raw muscle meats, organ meats, and dairy, are more healthy than most if not all plant foods. Essentially, nutrients in plant foods are not as bio-available as those in meats/dairy. They are not even in the same form as the ones you need in your body so you need to convert them.

Pay special attention to the children that are vegan on that channel. Notice the goblin ears, under developed jaws, close set, sunken eyes, low fat levels for children etc.
I'm not a fan of Juden Peterstein, but I think he's getting this right. I'm pretty sure there are scientific studies out there supporting Frank's claims on the bioavailability of nutrients but I need a bit more time to find them. In the mean time, feel free to look yourself.
