They've thrown a generational temper tantrum virtually every decade they've been forced on the earth. They've fought year after year to push every bill to successive generations. They bitch and moan about their $3000 student loans and how they paid them off over 30 years when real world earnings haven't changed much in 40 years, but inflation has to the point where $50,000 - $100,000 student debt is nothing. They boast about how they budgeted their $10,000 brand new cars, and their $50,000 mortgages. They bask in the last of the pension plans, fully funded retirements like 100% military salary when these days it's closer to 20% The pioneered the outsourcing of mid-career positions across the American job market - breaking for the first time in history the bridge between entry and senior level positions. It goes on. The best part about boomers is that they're almost gone and their incessant lecturing and talking down, first to the GI generation before them, then to the 'latchkey' kids they abandoned - en masse - (also a historic first). Then to the millennials they insisted on dominating. 'echo boomers', anyone? They have refused, with blanket certainty, to put anything but their own generational needs before anyone else's at any point since the 1960's and to see the cumulative effect of their vapid narcissism, one has only to look to congress. They won't leave. They won't retire. McCain was allowed to legislate for over 18 months AFTER disclosing stage IV brain tumors, which completely negate his ability to be reasonable. Pelosi has dementia, Feinstein too, Biden has full blown Alzheimer's, Ginsberg couldn't be made to care about anything other than her ego and thus ended up betraying her party and honestly, her oath. Hell, Trump wears diapers for fucks sake. He's 74 and still acts like he's a viable candidate at 78. They're sick. Fuck the 'not all X' argument. Who do you think championed that bullshit argument? It's ironic, because they are the same people who gave us the militant American leftist collectivism in the form of their utopian egalitarian, multicultural, love fest we all get to experience today.
